A fusion of ballet, pilates and yoga. Our barre sessions will leave you feeling re-aligned, balanced and strengthened. Expect to have fun, increase your stamina and endurance with the use of props to assist with this all over body workout special attention to the legs, bottom, thighs and arms.
Barre cardio is base on awareness of the stabilising core muscles that support long term balanced postures and sustained energy and strength.These are the abdominal and pelvic muscles, the back, buttocks and hips.
Barre cardio classes require you to balance on one leg, rotate outward from the hips, move forward, backward, side to side and rotate, so you work your muscle from all angles. This develops a harmonious and balanced body that moves with confidence and mindfulness.

So if you practise Barre regularly, you will improve over time and find it easier to maintain posture under pressure, reach further, do deeper plies and lift higher.
Barre is a toning, body weight lifting workout.
